The time-lapse is a compilation of painting sessions. I have a camera set up in the corner that I turn on each time I go in to paint. The video is probably a half-dozen sessions all strung together into one. With this technique of applying thin washes of color over areas of the panel, it's fairly easy to paint oneself into a corner, as it were, and have to put the panel aside to dry. Each session is probably in the neighborhood of 45 minutes, making the duration of work in the assembled clip about 4 1/2 hours. How's that for a long-winded response?
Cool stuff. What was the clock time for this session?
